175/365: Scratch Pad

Chloe the kitten is CRAZY! She is the most energetic kitty I have ever met. I decided to go out and buy her some more toys last Friday in the hopes that she would tire herself out more so that she doesn't try to play with us all night long. This is a picture of her new scratch pad! Only $19.99 at Petsmart. Yay for good sales!

I got home from work today and everything was so green! Maybe it's because of all the rain? I took my camera with me while Stitches and I went for our evening walk and took some great (and green) pictures...

Dave and I went to Petsmart tonight to buy a new litterbox for Chloe the kitten. We walked past the hamsters and I had to stop and watch them all run! Look at this baby go...

172/365: Barbie Postcards

Dave and I were supposed to go to the Drive-In tonight, but it never happened. He went over my parents' house to do some computer work and we ended up being there for about 4 hours. I was so sure I would get a picture at the drive-in, but since we didn't go I ended up scrambling to get a picture of something for the day. I ended up taking a picture of this postcard Barbie book that I got from the library book sale last week! Oh, Barbie... how I love you so...

171/365: Bonfire

My parents had a bonfire party at the house tonight. I can honestly say that this was our best bonfire to date. At one point the fire had to have been 15 feet high! It was amazing and such a great time!

I took so many pictures, but so did Dave and I'm not sure which pictures he took and which ones I took... except for this one! I definitely took this one of my brother and his girlfriend.

170/365: The Grill

My girlfriend, Michelle, just got her Master's Degree this week and she had a BBQ at her house to celebrate! Her husband got to fire up his very snazzy grill to make us hamburgers and hotdogs (and Boca Burgers... thanks Steve!). I took a picture of this nifty little grill feature. It counts down how many more hours of grill time you have left! Pretty sweet!

I fell in love with True Blood last fall and now I am obsessed with the Sookie Stackhouse books! If you love vampires, action, and romance then you *have* to check out these books! They are so so so so great! Seriously! I am using my vampire powers on you right now... Go read Dead Until Dark!!!!

I embarked on a journey today... a journey to clean my desk! It wasn't easy and there were times that I was sure I wouldn't survive... but I did it!! This might not look like much, but it's my clean desk and I looooove it!

Wheeeeee! I got to work today and checked out the Courier Post Online to see if they posted the race results and/or pictures... and I found MEEEEE! Here I am stretching pre race! I look kinda stiff...

165/365: 5K

Despite an ankle that won't stop hurting, I was able to run my first 5K in 4 years... and also shave 9 minutes off of my time!

I ran the Clementon Lake Classic today and finished in 35 minutes! This is a super big deal for me! It was a little hard running in the heat since I only ever run inside these days, but I did it and it felt good!

Now it's time to train for the half marathon...

164/365: Alex's Lemonade Stand

I had a date with Dave and his son, Tyler, today. Tyler got to babysit me for about an hour while Dave ran out to take care of some car issues... and then we all went to dinner and the movies! We saw the new Night at the Museum sequel and then went to Applebees for dinner. While there, we contributed a dollar to Alex's Lemonade Stand! Good times!

I love how easily kittens are entertained! Who needs fancy toys when we can play with paper bags and rolled up balls of aluminum foil?! The Wafter has the good life...

162/365: Nalgene

I love my brand new Nalgene bottle! I just got it this past Sunday at EMS and I take it everywhere with me now. I love to drink water and this is so much more earth friendly than all of the water bottles I go through a day. Yay for my "green" water bottle!

161/365: Dive

I love a good dive bar (Actually, my first date with Dave was at a lil dive called the Cherrywood) and Jay's Elbow Room is a dive. I have (sadly) never been... but I pass it every time I go to Dave's. I keep secretly hoping that he will take me. Maybe one of these days...

160/365: Sushi Deliciousness

Poor Dave was having a rough day, so I took him out for a sushi treat. I'm so glad he likes to eat sushi now because it really is my most favorite thing to eat! We went on a recommendation and tried a new sushi place tonight called Ta-Ke in Marlton, NJ. It was very good! I really loved the tempura sweet potato rolls. NOM!

159/365: Wafer

Dave has started calling the kitty Neko... which is Japanese for "cat". I don't particularly like the name... so I started calling her "Wafer" (like a Necco Wafer)! No matter what we decide to name her, I just absolutely love her already! I think she might just be the most beautiful cat I have ever had!
