134/365: Light Bulbs

I took off today because I knew I was going to be exhausted from the past few days. Somehow I managed to convince Dave to take off, too. We went out to lunch, hit up Target, made an antenna, saw the new Star Trek, stared at some light bulbs...


Dave has a light bulb that he needs to replace. The only problem is that he can never remember what kind of light bulb he needs. Every time (seriously!) we pass a display of light bulbs we have to stop and look to see if maybe this time we will finally find the The One.


Today was not our lucky day...

Staff Day is done! Staff Day is done! It was craziness... but it was great and now it's DONE!

132/365: Staff Day Prep

Our library's Staff Day is tomorrow (finally!!) so I spent the day prepping the library. I moved chairs, tables, furniture, etc. I hung up signs, located surge protectors, and laptops. I ran around like a crazy person trying to get as much work done as possible before the big day tomorrow.


Part of our Staff Day will include a mini-tech fair. I get to show the library staff how to use the Wii and Wii Sports, as well as our PS2 and such games as Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution. I'm actually considered a "vendor" for tomorrow, so here's a picture of my name next to my space! Wheee!

131/365: Babies

We've had a momma goose and her nest under one of the window's in our department of the library for a few weeks now. I got to work Monday morning to discover that the momma goose was gone... and her eggs have hatched! I got scared that I wouldn't get to see the babies... but they came back for a visit! What a lovely little family.

130/365: Steak!

Dave and I watched an episode of Torchwood yesterday called "Meat". Afterwards we decided that we were both craving steak. I had to work at Loft today, so Dave and I had a two part date. Part 1 consisted of driving to Wegman's and purchasing our steaks before work. Part 2 happened when I got home from work and we went about broiling our delicious meat!

129/365: Fancy Furniture

I got home from work tonight to discover that our old loveseat was gone and replaced with these spiffy new chairs. Very classy, sweet roommates of mine. I likey a lot!

128/365: Rewards

I didn't feel so well today. I think I might have a stomach bug. I tried eating, but it's just not happening. I decided to make myself some tea to help settle my tummy and that's when I noticed the note on the tea bag!! I love it!
